About Ira Curry
Ira O’Nellious Curry, widely known as The King of Business, is an American business celebrity, chairman, coach, consultant, producer, artist, speaker, businessman coach and the mastermind behind the Business Celebrity Movement. He is best known as the Executive Chairman of Ira Curry Holdings and the creator of Coachman, the all-in-one platform that helps everyday people start, run, and grow their own coaching businesses.
Born on March 14, 1989, in Bay Springs, Mississippi, Ira Curry grew up in a working-class African-American family as the youngest of four children. Despite dropping out of high school at 17, he later earned his GED and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration—proving that determination, faith, and hard work can change the trajectory of any life.
In 2018, Ira launched his first company, Enginenear Credit Repair, and quickly gained national attention for his sharp business sense and ability to help every day people master their finances. By 2019, Ira was leading private coaching programs, publishing business resources, and running multiple businesses from Charlotte, NC, and later San Diego. In 2021, he retired from traveling to focus solely on building his legacy.
Today, Ira lives in Los Angeles, California, where he oversees eight privately held companies as part of Ira Curry Holdings, Inc. Through his work, he continues to inspire entrepreneurs, creators, and dreamers to reach for more—and shows them how to make it happen. His aim is to transform employees into consultants, consultants into coaches and coaches into celebrities by guiding, advising and supporting the new generation of business leaders on each phase of their journey.
